Artgirls gather at Susan's

Our art group gathered today at Susan's folk art filled home for a delightful lunch and get together. We used to meet every week, then once a month, then birthdays....and we missed seeing each other, so we renewed our commitment to meet once a month to work on art projects or just do "show and tell".
It was so much fun to see all Susan's folk art and her newly remodeled kitchen and dining area.
We all got a tour and I took lots of photos so you could see all the great little corners and collections in her colorful home overlooking the valley.
I made this hooked strawberry for Susan a few years ago, but had totally forgotten about it.
Folk art dolls in the living room made by Olive Rose. Susan sells her work at her shop and bakery in Solvang.
More folk art dolls by Olive Rose. I have three of her creations at home and love everything she makes!

Some of Syd's fabric house pillows....

Beautiful flowers in the kitchen...

The girls gathered for lunch...Le's roasted beet and goat cheese salad was a big hit!
